I love myself a small yet versatile crossbody bag that I can take from morning to night. Crossbody bags can easily come off as too casual, so accessorising is key.

The first flatlay I've put together is a casual summerish one - paired the crossbody bag with a Panama hat, espadrilles (or sandals), favourite Tortoise Shell sunglasses and some lightweight makeup because you'll be sweatin it off anyway. 

I think that the 5 year journal makes an interesting gift. The book is filled with different questions that you should answer every single day for 5 years and whenever you feel like it, you can always look back and see how much things have changed. Before makeup, you should always prep your skin. I am now religiously using my Skin Inc products, and I especially love the mask. It is super effective in reducing the size of your pores and brightening.

You can take the exact same bag out for an evening dinner by slinging it on one shoulder rather than across your body, throw on a LBD (you can't go wrong with that), strappy heels and some jewellery (OTT or minimal, totally up to you). If you prefer to use the bag as a clutch, simply tuck the straps into the bag and you're good to go.

I hardly ever wear heels, but I am obsessed with my newly acquired nude strappy heels. I've had a pair of black strappy heels for quite some time now and have been looking for a pair of nude ones to add to the ever growing arsenal of shoes. Despite the stiletto heels, it is quite easy to walk in.

As for makeup, I love the IOPE air cushion that my friend got for me from Korea because it leaves me with dewy-looking skin (the coverage is alright though), but I do find that it is a little too sticky on my face but nothing some loose powder can't fix!
